GeoKAMS (Geographical Kerala Accident Management System)

As a part of improving Service Delivery Project under MGP (Modernizing Government Programme), 57 Police Stations in the State were provided with Hardware,  inorder to develop a Data Bank on Traffic Accident Cases as mandated by MGP – SDP, the above hardware were loaded with the GeoKAMS Software developed by M/s.IBS Services, Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, based on the agreement between M/s.IBS Services and Kerala State Public Works Department (PWD) under Kerala State Transport Project (KSTP) with the financial assistance of the World Bank.  This is used for capturing data pertaining to each accident by the Investigating Officer.  GPS/GIS integration is available.  Necessary Training has been imparted to the Police Personnel on the use and operation of above Software.  This Project will also be extended to all Police Stations in near future.
